Cambodia Orphanage

Through the cooperation of M’s Factory Co., Ltd. (President Hasegawa, Fukushima Prefecture), MATES Global Communications Co., Ltd. (President Yanagi, Cambodia), and Samurai Noodle Co., Ltd. (President Okumura, Tokyo), we delivered 300kg of rice, 200 T-shirts, 200 servings of miso ramen, and tableware for 200 people.

The ticket machines in all of our ramen shops are equipped with a “Donation Button,” allowing our customers to contribute directly. Additionally, 2 yen from every bowl of our ramen sold is dedicated to supporting educational initiatives in Cambodia. In fiscal year 2014, the total amount of donations reached approximately 460,000 yen. We are deeply grateful for our customers’ cooperation.

The local children have such clear eyes; they are friendly and have wonderful smiles.

Visit to CCH (Choeung Ek Children’s Home)

We visited the children at CCH orphanage, where Tenshuku-man serves as the chairperson of the NPO “Make The Heaven,” along with students from Ohkubo Academy. They showed us the traditional folk dances they practice every day. We were moved to tears and smiles, and as a group, we felt deep gratitude for being born into the fortunate environment of Japan, realizing that we must work even harder ourselves.

Ramen in Cambodia

This video shows our inspection of the ramen situation in Cambodia in preparation for the opening of our “Ramen School,” as well as our visit to the orphanage to deliver miso ramen with Mr. Ishimoto from “Drons.”
